University: The Petroleum Institute

Degree: BSc in Mechanical Engineering and MSc in Mechanical Engineering

What is it about automotive and motorsport projects that ignite your engineering passion?

I worked on competition electric vehicles during my time at university and the whole process of designing, building and finally racing is something I am really passionate about.

What has struck you from a personal and engineering point of view since you began your placement at INFINITI / Renault Sport Formula One Team?

Having started my placement at INFINITI, I am astounded by the level of detail they apply to developing the most competitive cars.

I’ve found an added appreciation for the engineering expertise that goes into making road vehicles, and the level of commitment and passion from the engineers is inspiring.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Working in Research and Development, leading a research project in the automotive sector, preferably in motorsports.

Biggest positive impact in your life?

My dad’s work ethic and dedication are traits I admired growing up.

Most looking forward to about living/working in the UK?

I look forward to the fast-paced and culturally diverse environment.

Greatest strength?

Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, fluency in sharing ideas and working proactively.
