University: Beijing Institute of Technology, China and Politecnico di Torino, Italy

Degree: Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s Degree) and Automotive Engineering (Double Degree)

Sally took part in the INFINITI Engineering Academy Chinese Regional Final for the second year running. After winning the Regional Final this year, Sally is now keen to take advantage of the opportunity to work for both INFINITI and the Renault Sport Formula OneTM Team.

What is it about automotive and motorsport projects that ignites your engineering passion?

The fast-changing technologies and quickly updating techniques continually push me to learn.

What has struck you from a personal and engineering point of view since you began your placement at INFINITI / Renault Sport Formula One Team?

I am currently based at the Renault Sport Formula One Team and they have a very efficient internal structure, knowledge and standardisation of products and processes that can be easily transferred from project and project.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I would like to be involved in a race team as an aerodynamicist, lead my own project, and make a difference.

Biggest positive impact in life?

My parents are always ready to help me. Their optimism and kindness influence the way I live.

Most looking forward to about living/working in the UK?

Experiencing the race car culture in UK, and the traditional British way of life.

Greatest strength?

Quick learner.
